Murales
Art work competition, finalist, Hong Kong, 2017
Fashion, Style and Vibrancy are the words that have inspired the design. Guiding visitors to the DIP (Design Incubation Programme) and FIP (Fashion Incubation Programme) centres, moving silhouettes are playing and passing each other a round red object with the initials of the centers written in it. In this way, the murals become a wayfinding. The silhouettes appear animated and realistic when playing with the surrounding space, sitting in, hanging from or reclining on the elements of the staircase.

In the lift lobbies, the silhouettes continue to interact with the surrounding space, they are trapped between doors. But the scale of the figures has changed into gigantic silhouettes, almost too big to fit within the space. The silhouettes become more impressive, out of human scale and proportion, pushing and trying to escape. A contracted power that preludes the explosion of creativity, innovation and creation happening behind the doors in the DIP and FIP centres.
