Posterheroes
Art Competition, Winner, 2020
Posterheroes is an international contest about social design and social communication asking to the international creative community to express powerful messages through a poster 70×100 cm about social and environmental issues. The edition of 2020 is called “Humans at work” and is about future work scenarios and the role of dignified employment in the lives of individuals and in the sustainable development of society.

Artists and designers all around the world were invited to use their creativity to promote or denounce social justice and human rights in the field of work in all its aspects.
​
While the global agri-food industry generates billion-dollar profits every year, the injustice of poverty is still widespread among small farmers. The new Oxfam's global report, emphasizes systematic presence of abuses in agri-food chains around the world, showing the conditions of severe exploitation suffered by workers in the countryside.

Is that different from the conditions of slaves in the cotton and tobacco fields in United States in 1850? Almost two hundred years have passed, things TRANSFORMED, but they are NOT GONE.
​
The artwork was selected together with 12 others, among 3500 participants from all around the world. The selected works were exhibited in Turin, Italy, during the fifth edition of Graphic Days® Transitions, an international festival dedicated to graphic and visual design.
