The Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong is part of a network of over 80 Italian Cultural Institutes worldwide. Alongside with the Italian Cultural Institutes in Beijing and Shanghai they are one of the three cultural agencies of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China. The institute is dedicated to promoting Italian language and culture in Hong Kong and Macao. To this end the Institute organizes concerts, exhibitions, screenings, readings and other cultural events.

The Rossini and Puccini concert was the opportunity to think of a style and a design, that will bring the audience back to the atmosphere of the 19th century. An elegant man, wearing a dress in the style of the "Belle Époque" is metaphorically looking behind the drapery of a theater, leading the eyes of the observer to the main title and information of the concert. The handmade style of the drawings helps to stronger and enhance the "antique" ambience.
