The Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong is part of a network of over 80 Italian Cultural Institutes worldwide. Alongside with the Italian Cultural Institutes in Beijing and Shanghai they are one of the three cultural agencies of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China. The institute is dedicated to promoting Italian language and culture in Hong Kong and Macao. To this end the Institute organizes concerts, exhibitions, screenings, readings and other cultural events.

One of their concerts offered the opportunity to imagine a design for the leaflet and the tickets. The concert was dedicated to one of the greatest Italian Composers Gioachino Rossini. Inspired by the traditional musical score, the 8 pages leaflet illustrates the list of musical pieces, a short description about the Composer and a short curriculum vitae of each of the musicians. The leitmotiv of the programme is the flow of the musical score with fluctuating notes, starting at the front page with a three dimensional music key.
